On Monday 5th December the Cygnet Social Work Awards were held virtually. The event was a celebration of all Social Workers and Social Work Assistants at Cygnet Health Care.
Congratulations to the staff and young people at Cygnet Hospital Sheffield’s Pegasus Ward which has recently become CAMHeleon accredited. Developed by the same team who created Star Wards, CAMHeleon celebrates and promotes Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) ward best practice and the things that really make a positive difference to young people.
Earlier this week our CAMHS teams from Cygnet Hospital Sheffield were invited to present at The Royal College of Psychiatrists Quality network for inpatient CAMHS (QNIC) National conference. Three young people presented alongside members of staff to over 100 delegates.
Staff and service users on Spencer Ward, Cygnet Hospital Sheffield’s, low secure service for women, celebrated the end of summer with a Hawaiian themed party. Activities included hula hooping, limbo, Just Dance, an ice-cream parlour and fancy dress.
