The DBT team from Cygnet Hospital Stevenage attended and presented at the annual Society for Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (SfDBT) Conference on the 11th December 2014 at the South Bank University.
Cygnet Hospital Bierley has been scored 88% in a review by the Quality Network for Forensic Mental Health Services. The hospital also achieved 100% ratings in five of the areas assessed.
Building work has begun on a new three-bed flatlet extension to Cygnet Hospital Derby's Wyvern Unit. The work is progressing well and we envisage admitting the first service user on 3rd February 2015.

A series of initiatives have seen the incidents rates across Cygnet Hospital Beckton drop by 33% compared to the previous year. Bewick Ward, the hospital's low secure service for women, saw a huge reduction of almost 75%.
We are delighted to announce that Cygnet Lodge Brighouse has achieved AIMS reaccreditation from the Royal College of Psychiatrists. The Lodge, a mental health rehabilitation service for men and women, passed at level 2 ‘excellence ‘ with an overall score of 97%.

We are pleased to announce that Cygnet Lodge Kenton is the latest Cygnet service to have achieved AIMS accreditation from the Royal College of Psychiatrists. AIMS is a national project developed to ensure best practice is being achieved in in-patient mental health services.
