Staff and service users on Spencer Ward, Cygnet Hospital Sheffield’s, low secure service for women, celebrated the end of summer with a Hawaiian themed party. Activities included hula hooping, limbo, Just Dance, an ice-cream parlour and fancy dress.
Well done to the teams at Cygnet Acer Clinic, Cygnet Hospital Sheffield and Cygnet Hospital Wyke who have become our latest services to achieving QI Ready status.
We are delighted to announce the winning entries of our 2023 Cygnet Health Care Calendar Competition. The calendar is made up off artwork submitted by service users and residents from Cygnet services across the country.
Cygnet Hospital Sheffield recently held their first formal Art Exhibition. The exhibition gave an opportunity for service users across all four wards (CAMHS and female low secure) to display their artistic talents.
On 25th March, Kerry Booth, Head Occupational Therapist, and Abigail Roberts, Occupational Therapist, at Cygnet Hospital Sheffield hosted two virtual quizzes to support the people and animals of Ukraine. A grand total of £3850 was raised which will be split between two charities; Red Cross Disasters Emergency Committee and Ugolyok.
