We are delighted to announce that staff members at Cygnet Manor have been shortlisted as finalists in no fewer than five categories in the National Learning Disabilities and Autism Awards 2022.
Well done to the team at Cygnet Manor who have retained the hospital’s ‘Good’ rating following the latest inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Cygnet Manor is a high dependency complex care service in Shirebrook, Nottinghamshire, for men with learning disabilities, associated complex needs and who may have behaviours that challenge.
On Tuesday 3rd August 2021 we held a Student Nurse Open Day at Shirebrook Miners Welfare. The purpose of the day was to recognise and celebrate the invaluable contribution made to healthcare services throughout the pandemic by student nurses.
To celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week and the theme of ‘Nature’ we asked our teams to share their nature photos and activities in the #CygnetWithNature challenge. The winning photos have now been selected.
Cygnet Manor, our high dependency complex care service in Nottinghamshire for men with learning disabilities and associated complex needs, have introduced a ‘Decision Box’ to give service users a real say in decisions that affect the service.
