On Wednesday 9th September we held our grand opening event at Cygnet Hospital Hexham, our new PICU and Acute service for women with complex mental health needs. Due to open for admissions in October, the new 27-bed facility will provide an important and much-needed service for women and will offer treatment and rehabilitation through a specialist intensive care unit and an acute service for women.
Cygnet Nield House our new 30-bed mental health hospital in Crewe is due to open in Autumn 2020. The hospital will be split into two distinct wards, each offering specialist mental health services for women.
On Wednesday 1st July we held our grand opening day for Cygnet Newham House, our new neuropsychiatric service for women in Middlesbrough.
Cygnet Hospital Hexham, our new 27 bed mental health facility for women with complex mental health needs, is due to open in Autumn 2020.
Three new specialist PICU services are now open and accepting admissions. These include two services for men, at Cygnet Hospital Stevenage and Cygnet Victoria House and one new service for women at Cygnet Appletree near Durham.
