We are proud to announce that no fewer than eight service user led projects from Cygnet hospitals have been shortlisted as finalists in the National Service User Awards 2017. Cygnet Hospital Derby has four projects in the final and Cygnet Hospitals Bierley, Bury, Kewstoke and Stevenage also each have a nomination in the final.
We are delighted to announce that we will shortly be launching a new pilot project to introduce Safewards to our hospitals. The introduction of Safewards is part of Cygnet’s wider commitment to reduce restrictive practice.
All About Me, an award winning mental health recovery package for deaf service users was officially launched at an event in Birmingham on 8th June. The package was developed as part of a national project that included service users and clinicians from a number of mental health trusts across England, as well as several independent providers, including Cygnet Health Care.
Today, as we mark the 2016 Mental Health Awareness Week, Cygnet Health Care would like to introduce a film which highlights the importance of positive, communicative relationships between service users and those who support them in services.
