To celebrate Men's Health Week staff at Cygnet Hospital Blackheath organised a day of activities based around the theme for this year's week which was, 'How do you beat stress?'.

Three more Cygnet hospitals to become smoke free
In January our hospitals in Blackheath, Brighouse and Wyke will become the latest Cygnet services to provide care and treatment in a smoke free environment. This takes the total number of smoke free Cygnet hospitals up to four.
Meridian Ward gains ‘Full Monty’ Star Wards status
We are delighted to announce that Cygnet Hospital Blackheath's Meridian Ward has achieved Star Wards status. Staff and service users from Meridian Ward, a low secure service for men, were presented with The Full Monty Award by Geoff Brennan, Executive Director of Star Wards.
Moving towards smoke free services
Cygnet Hospital Beckton and Cygnet Hospital Blackheath are aiming to be the first Cygnet hospitals to provide care and treatment in a smoke free environment and plan to become smoke free in November this year.
