Cygnet is launching a new Smoke Free policy for health care as part of the Smoke Aware Initiative. Our new Smoke Free policy for health care will reflect an innovative and least restrictive practice, combining access to safety tested e-cigarettes for use in inpatient bedroom areas, in addition to awareness workshops and a free app.
The team at Cygnet Appletree recently held a Staff Wellness Day to focus on staff wellbeing and what support is available to staff. All staff were given the opportunity to visit a number of stands including a physical health station, sleep hygiene station and a self-care / lifestyle station.
An online quiz event with teams of staff and service users from almost 20 Cygnet services has raised £1,100 to be split between two charities.
After much deliberation from the judging panel, we are delighted to announce the winners of the 2021 Great Cygnet Christmas Cake Off! In total we received 64 fabulous entries from across 37 Cygnet's health and social care services. A huge thank you to everyone who took part and made this such a fun and accessible activity for all.
