We are delighted to announce that, following an assessment on 15-16th February 2016, Cygnet Hospital Beckton has been successful in achieving the Investors in People Gold award. The hospital gained initial Investors in People status in March 2015 achieving Bronze status before going straight for Gold.
The drive to achieve the award was facilitated by Cygnet Hospital Beckton’s General Manager Jackie Wolf, in coordination with the hospital’s Staff Representation Group (SRG). Together they ensured that staff across all disciplines and levels had a shared understanding of the company’s vision and understood their role in achieving the objectives of the hospital in particular.

Anna Frith, the Investors in People assessor said, “Staff were well engaged and were proud to work here, the strategic vision and values are well engrained and there was clear evidence of staff buy-in. There was evidence of good practice in terms of team building, shared learning and investment in training. Senior managers were open, approachable and empowering.”
