Situated in the East End of London, the hospital has four different specialist wards including PICU, acute admissions and personality disorder services.

We accept emergency and planned, pre-assessed admissions. Our aim is to support individual service user recovery and integration back into the community, as quickly as possible. We have a multi-disciplinary team of specialists and offer a very broad range of therapies.

The overall ambience of the hospital is welcoming. The team take great pride in providing the best possible therapeutic environment in conjunction with the service users.

The team at Cygnet Hospital Beckton very much value the role of family carers and they have a well-established Carers Network that meet regularly to share the latest hospital news and listen to feedback from the relatives and friends of those being cared for at the service.

The hospital has an enclosed garden, plus several balcony areas, that are accessible 24 hours a day. Other facilities include a fully equipped, air-conditioned gym, two occupational therapy kitchens and telephone conference facilities.
