On Friday 31 March 2017, Cygnet Hospital Ealing and Cygnet Lodge Kenton marked going 'smoke free' with their own Clean Air Act 2017 celebrations. The purpose of the festivities was to mark the end of smoke-filled lives and spaces at Cygnet, and the beginning of healthy new policies and lifestyles.
On Friday 6th May service users at Cygnet Lodge Kenton held a Spring Concert. The women performed ten songs in total, each of which had a special meaning to at least one of them.
Service users at Cygnet Lodge Kenton have shown great potential through co-writing, performing and finally recording, two original songs in a recording studio. This took a lot of courage and they are so proud of their achievement.
Service users at Cygnet Lodge Kenton have lent a helping hand to a visiting artist to create a beautiful new mural at the Lodge. Professional artist Mandy Marks Wheatley has painted two new murals along the walls of the Lodge’s reception area.
