In March we launched the 2021 Cygnet Health Care Calendar Competition. With so many fantastic entries we couldn’t choose just 13 pieces to feature therefore, the 2021 Cygnet Calendar will feature 21 pieces of artwork.
Service users at Cygnet Hospital Taunton are riding out the coronavirus lockdown with a donation of four bikes from local charity, On Your Bike.
Cygnet Hospital Taunton’s newest ward has been renamed after the town’s football team - Peacocks Ward. The ward was officially opened with its new name by Taunton Town FC Club Chairman, Kevin Sturmey, in recognition of the club’s work in supporting and raising awareness of mental health issues.
Service users at Cygnet Hospital Taunton’s Redwood Ward, have recently led on a number of improvements to the ward environment.
On Saturday 12th October service users and staff from Cygnet Hospital Taunton were invited to attend Taunton Town FC’s match with Hayes & Yeading. At the end of the match one service user was given the honour of presenting the Man of the Match award.
