Service users have been collaborating with the social work and maintenance teams at Cygnet Hospital Ealing on a new Transforming Spaces project. The project will see the group redesign and redecorate a lounge and other spaces.
Cygnet Hospital Ealing recently welcomed Elspeth van der Hole, who has lived experience of borderline personality disorder to share her experiences with the service users on New Dawn Ward, the hospital’s specialist Tier 4 personality disorder service for women.
Service users and staff from Cygnet Hospital Ealing’s specialist eating disorder service, Sunrise Ward, have had a full timetable of events and activities this week to mark Eating Disorder Awareness Week (1st -7th March). Activities included a Skype session with author Tabitha Farrar and a showcase event where the ladies shared poems and letters.
Cygnet Hospital Ealing’s Social Cause Group have recently held a successful fundraising event to raise money for the Felix Project. The event included poetry readings, musical performances, nail painting and a sale of cushions, bags, plates, keyrings and plant pots made by service users.
