New murals brighten up Madison Ward
A service user at Cygnet Hospital Bury’s Madison Ward has been keeping himself busy during the lockdown period by creating a series of fabulous wall murals on the ward.
Excel and Exceed Centre’s Loneliness Awareness initiative
Last week it was Loneliness Awareness Week and the staff and students at Cygnet Hospital Bury’s Excel and Exceed Centre worked together to create posters, poems and cards to be shared with the residents of an elderly person’s residential home in the local area.
2021 Cygnet Calendar Competition Winners
In March we launched the 2021 Cygnet Health Care Calendar Competition. With so many fantastic entries we couldn’t choose just 13 pieces to feature therefore, the 2021 Cygnet Calendar will feature 21 pieces of artwork.
Cygnet Hospital Bury’s Buttercup and Primrose Wards achieve QNIC accreditation
Cygnet Hospital Bury’s Buttercup Ward and Primrose Ward have both achieved accreditation from the Quality Network for Inpatient CAMHS (QNIC). As a result all four of the hospital’s CAMHS services are now QNIC accredited.
