We are delighted to announce those shortlisted for the Annual Psychiatry Awards 2022. Following on from last year’s successful Cygnet Psychiatrists’ Conference and Awards Ceremony, we are looking forward to this year’s event with the theme around Coproduction.
Two staff members from Cygnet Heathers and Cygnet Sedgley House have teamed up to cycle along the Grand Union Canal from Birmingham to London, while raising money for Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM).
Cygnet Heathers, our specialist rehabilitation service in West Bromwich, has been rated ‘Good’ across all categories by the regulator, the Care Quality Commission (CQC), with inspectors praising staff for their ‘compassion and kindness’.
In one of the Multicultural Network Meetings at Cygnet Heathers earlier this year, it was identified that staff needed a space to take time out when felt overwhelmed. They now have a brand new staff haven and mult-faith room.
In April we launched the 2022 Cygnet Health Care Calendar Competition and asked our service users and residents from across the country to submit their paintings, drawings, photographs and arts & crafts projects to be featured.
