On Friday 30th June the annual Learning Disability and Autism Awards took place at the ICC in Birmingham. Cygnet Elms were lucky enough to have two finalist entries for this year’s awards, the first for service users, Flo and Vicki and the second for team member, Frances Hancox.
Last week, service users and staff at Cygnet Elms took a trip to Tamworth Assembly Rooms to enjoy an evening with all of their favourite pop star tributes.
On Tuesday 21st February, individuals from mental health and learning disability services across the country were invited to come together and share their thoughts about the National Service User Awards. The overall aim of the day being to expand, develop and grow the Awards by listening to the individuals at the heart of them.
On Wednesday 25th January three service users from Cygnet Elms travelled from Birmingham down to the London Palladium to experience being part of the Britain’s Got Talent audience.
In September we launched the Cygnet Christmas Card Competition for 2022, in which we ask our service users and residents from around the country to get into the festive spirit and show off their artistic side!
