Investors in People Silver Award

“Following this third assessment against the extended framework for Investors in People, the hospital have again demonstrated that the management team are committed to operate to standards of best practice and that the Investors in People framework is being used to support continuous improvement of people management practices. Excellent practice takes place regarding the support for development in all areas, the inclusion of people in decision-making and the consideration given to recognising achievement where possible.”Melanie King, Investors in People assessor

“I believe this award demonstrates the quality of care offered at Cygnet Hospital Derby. The Investors in People are a totally independent body who for the third consecutive year have measured the team’s effort with reference to the quality of care that is offered to our service users. Achieving this award has been a real team effort and I’d like to thank all our staff for the commitment that they have shown. However, we will not be complacent and we will be striving to achieve the Gold status in 2014.”Guy Bannister, Clinical Manager, Cygnet Hospital Derby
