Environmental improvement works at Cygnet Hospital Harrogate now completed

Cygnet Hospital Harrogate has unveiled the results of an extensive programme of environmental improvements.

The reception area has been remodelled to create a new Reception Office which has been moved much closer to the main entrance, helping with people’s access in and out of the building.

We have also created a new visitor room, helping us offer more options for family-friendly visiting.

The improvements to the reception area were the final phase of an ongoing investment programme which has seen patient areas improved as well as the implementation of a state-of-the-art key technology system.

Cygnet Hospital Harrogate provides an emergency acute inpatient service which is split over two wards: Haven, a 19 bed mixed male and female service and Sanctuary a 17 bed female only service. Both wards treat service users on an informal basis and also those detained under the Mental Health Act.
