Cygnet shortlisted for Large Employer of the Year at Juniper Training Apprenticeship Awards 2026

Cygnet is proud to announce it has been shortlisted for the ‘Large Employer of the Year’ award at the Juniper Training Apprenticeship Awards 2026.

The awards, taking place on Friday 15 May, celebrate the outstanding achievements of apprentices, employers and partners who are making a meaningful impact through apprenticeship programmes. They recognise the dedication, growth and success that come from investing in skills and developing future talent.

The ‘Large Employer of the Year’ category highlights organisations that truly champion apprenticeships within their business. This includes employers who not only provide opportunities, but who actively support, develop and inspire their apprentices to succeed. Shortlisted organisations are recognised for going above and beyond in nurturing talent, creating clear career pathways, and embedding apprenticeships into their wider organisational strategy.

Cygnet’s inclusion on the shortlist reflects its continued commitment to investing in its workforce and supporting colleagues to grow and progress in their careers through high-quality apprenticeship opportunities.

Cygnet offers a wide range of apprenticeship programmes across clinical and non-clinical roles, including healthcare support, nursing pathways, leadership and management, and corporate functions. These programmes are designed to support colleagues at all stages of their careers, from new starters entering the sector to experienced staff looking to develop new skills and progress into leadership roles. Alongside nationally recognised qualifications, apprentices benefit from structured support, mentorship and protected learning time to help them succeed.

Faye Malkin, Group Training Manager (Apprenticeships) at Cygnet, said: “We’re pleased to have been shortlisted for the Juniper Training Large Apprenticeship Employer Award. This recognition reflects our commitment at Cygnet to developing talent, investing in our people, and creating meaningful career pathways.

“Our apprenticeship programmes continue to grow, supporting colleagues to gain qualifications, build confidence, and progress in their careers. Being shortlisted is a testament to the hard work of our learners, the dedication of our managers, and our strong partnership with Juniper Training.

“Being shortlisted is a significant achievement and underlines the positive impact of Cygnet’s apprenticeship programmes across the organisation.”
