To celebrate national Occupational Therapy Week 2015 the OT teams at Cygnet's West Yorkshire units organised a series of activities and sessions throughout the week to promote the use of OT within the service.
On Friday 9th October Cygnet Hospital Wyke hosted a Health Promotion Day for the service users on all three wards. The aim of the day was to promote and encourage a healthy lifestyle.
To mark the transition to a new therapy timetable, and to give service users a break from their usual weekly therapy routine, the Occupational Therapy department at Cygnet Hospital Beckton recently held a Fun Week.
As part of the UHS family of health care services, Cygnet Health Care is growing and evolving to meet the needs of service users and their families and carers and those who commission our services and we believed the time was right to reflect these changes in our visual brand identity.
A team of service users and staff from Cygnet Hospital Kewstoke recently took part in ‘Race for Life’ in Weston-Super-Mare to raise money for Cancer Research. The race took part on the evening of July 8th on the beach and along the pier.
