Service users at Cygnet Lodge Kenton have shown great potential through co-writing, performing and finally recording, two original songs in a recording studio. This took a lot of courage and they are so proud of their achievement.
On Thursday 21st September 2014 Cygnet Hospital Kewstoke held an enjoyable hospital-wide sports day. The team organised sports competitions for both male and female service users. The women's competition was in the morning and the men’s in the afternoon.
A series of initiatives have seen the incidents rates across Cygnet Hospital Beckton drop by 33% compared to the previous year. Bewick Ward, the hospital's low secure service for women, saw a huge reduction of almost 75%.
Staff and service users from Cygnet Hospital Kewstoke have been polishing up on their interview skills in order to take part in a video in which Ian Callaghan the National Service User Lead answers questions on My Shared Pathway.
On Saturday 5th July the first stage of the Tour de France, known as the Grand Départ, set off from Leeds and after a gruelling 190km through the Yorkshire Dales finished at Harrogate.
