On Friday 20th May the Department of Health published its guidance on physical healthcare for people with mental health problems. Cygnet Hospital Beckton's work to become smoke free is cited as one of the examples of good practice in the guidance.
From 16th-22nd May it was Mental Health Awareness Week and, based on this year's theme of 'Relationships', service users and staff on Cygnet Hospital Ealing's New Dawn Ward organised a 'Building Bridges' event.

Mental Health Awareness Week runs between May 16th and 22nd and this year’s theme is Relationships. To mark the week, Cygnet Health Care will be launching two new videos which explore reducing restrictive practice and the positive impact that has on relationships, both between service users and those who support them and more generally.
