The inaugural Cygnet Annual Psychiatrists Conference and National Awards Ceremony was hosted virtually on 15th September 2021. The event celebrated all our amazing Cygnet Doctors and Mental Health teams and it was a resounding success!
Congratulations to Irene Ibanda, a registered mental health nurse at Cygnet Acer Clinic in Chesterfield, who has been shortlisted in this year’s Student Nursing Times Awards as a finalist for the Mary Seacole Award for Outstanding Contribution to Diversity and Inclusion.
Well done to the team at Cygnet Hospital Colchester who have seen the hospital’s rating upgraded to ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Significant improvements were identified across all areas and as a result the hospital achieved a ‘Good’ rating in all five key lines of enquiry.
Well done to the team at Tupwood Gate Nursing Home in Caterham, Surrey, who have achieved platinum accreditation with the Gold Standards Framework. The Gold Standards Framework (GSF) supports and enables front line staff teams to provide a gold standard of care for individuals who are nearing the end-of-life.
