A 60th Birthday to Remember!

Sandy, a resident at Ellen Mhor, has been an avid fan and regular attendee of Dundee United matches for the last 17 years. For his 60th birthday, the team wanted to arrange something extra special and booked hospitality tickets for Dundee V Aberdeen.

Sandy has had a season ticket for many years and loves nothing more than going along to Tannadice Park on a Saturday afternoon to cheer on the Tangerines.

The hospitality tickets were a wonderful suprise for Sandy. He had a great day visiting Tannadice Park and before kick-off he enjoyed a three course meal. He also got to meet some Dundee United legends, including Paul Hegarty, who captained of Dundee United during their most successful era in the 1970s and 1980s.

Sandy even enjoyed a pre-match tour around the pitch and he took this moment to imagine himself scoring a goal for Dundee! He then went up into the stands to his executive seat to watch the game. Unfortunately, Dundee lost the game but this did not dampen his spirits and he had an amazing day.

Corrie, support worker, who accompanied Sandy on his day out said “Sandy had an excellent experience at the Tannadice for the Dundee Utd match versus Aberdeen. Sandy was super excited to walk around the pitch but the best memory Sandy holds now is meeting Dundee Utd legend Paul Hegarty and he even got a signed autobiography from Paul. Sandy couldn’t have been happier!”
