Two of our specialist ‘Outstanding’ learning disability and autism services are celebrating after being shortlisted for a pair of prestigious national awards. Cygnet Sherwood Lodge in Mansfield and Cygnet Wast Hills in Kings Norton have each been shortlisted for an award at the National Learning Disabilities and Autism Awards 2019.
Cygnet Churchill, our mental health hospital for men in south London, is to open a new 17 bed emergency acute service for men. The service will provide a safe and stabilising environment for men who are experiencing an acute episode of mental illness and require an emergency admission. Juniper Ward opens on Monday 20th May 2019.
We are delighted to announce that, following a CQC inspection on 11th and 12th March 2019, Cygnet Sherwood Lodge have been awarded Outstanding in all five Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs) – Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well-led.
Meet the Cygnet Wast Hills I Care Ambassadors, Kyle, Mabruka and Mo B. They are all support workers at Cygnet Wast Hills, our specialist autism complex care service in Kings Norton, who each wanted to raise awareness of the fantastic career they have.
