Well done to the team at Cygnet Appletree who have seen the hospital rated as ‘Good’ in all five key areas of enquiry following the most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
After an incredibly successful Quality Improvement (QI) Mapping Event last month, on Thursday 14th of April Cygnet Appletree became ‘QI Ready’, the first site in the North to be officially signed off!
On Thursday 3rd March the team at Cygnet Appletree, near Durham, embarked on their Quality Improvement (QI) journey with an incredibly successful ‘Mapping Event’.
The team at Cygnet Appletree recently held a Staff Wellness Day to focus on staff wellbeing and what support is available to staff. All staff were given the opportunity to visit a number of stands including a physical health station, sleep hygiene station and a self-care / lifestyle station.
Our Great Cygnet Christmas Cake off competition has now ended and we’ve been absolutely blown away by the amount of entries. Staff and service users have created some truly amazing cake creations, so a huge thank you to everyone who entered.
