We are delighted to announce the appointment of Carolyn John to the Cygnet nursing team as our Regional Nurse Director for the Midlands region. Carolyn joins us with over 30 years’ experience of working in healthcare in various clinical and senior management roles in NHS Wales.

Cygnet Health Care are pleased to be launching this week to all of our secure units a short co-produced film titled 'Movin On' which has been created at Cygnet Hospital Bierley to help support understanding for both staff and service users on the impact of admission into hospital for service users.
Raf Hamaizia, Cygnet's very own Expert by Experience Lead, has recently had an article published by the Guardian online. Raf wrote about a difficult experience he had when he was a service user in a medium-secure psychiatric unit, that had ultimately inspired him to do all he could to improve mental health services for others.
Monday 10th December was a very festive day at Cygnet Health Care’s head office. Raf Hamaizia, external mental health leaders, campaigners and experts by experience ensure every one of our service users receives at least one Christmas card this year.
