Cygnet Hospital Sheffield has been upgraded to a ‘Good’ rating by the regulator, the Care Quality Commission, with inspectors noting that services for young people demonstrated examples of ‘outstanding practice’.
For the last six months at Cygnet St Teilo House, Gareth from the service's maintenance team has facilitated an ‘apprenticeship’ scheme for a service user with a keen interest in this field.

Cygnet is launching a new Smoke Free policy for health care as part of the Smoke Aware Initiative. Our new Smoke Free policy for health care will reflect an innovative and least restrictive practice, combining access to safety tested e-cigarettes for use in inpatient bedroom areas, in addition to awareness workshops and a free app.
