Georgina Carlisle - Home Manager

Georgina started her Cygnet career in 2012 as Bank Support Worker at Long Eaton Day Service, Georgina gained experienced in working with individuals with profound and multiple learning disabilities with complex health needs, then promoted to Team Leader, Deputy Manager and now Service Manager. Georgina has supported the Autism services within Cygnet and now aims to use the experience gained to provide a higher quality of care managing Long Eaton Day Service.

Cara Turner - Team Leader

Cara started her career at a local SEN school, at this school Cara gained experience at working with children with Autism and a range of complex learning disabilities. Cara joined Cygnet Long Eaton Day Service in 2015 and worked as Support Worker, Cara then transitioned into the role of Activity Coordinator focusing on person centred adapted activities. Cara has recently been promoted into the role of Team Leader. Cara uses her training and leadership skills to provide high quality care.

Lloyd Francis - Team Leader

Lloyd has gained experience from working as a Support Worker in 2009 in which he had little to no experience working within the care sector, throughout the 11 years working at Long Eaton Day Service Lloyd has been promoted to Team Leader in which he developed his skills and knowledge. Lloyd enjoys making a positive difference to people’s life on a daily basis and takes great pride in providing high quality care.

Our Cygnet Social Care services in the Midlands held their ‘Social Care Coronation Games’ event at Saffron Lane Athletics Stadium, Leicester on Friday 11th August.

Christmas Jumper Day at Long Eaton Day Services

Last week the team at Long Eaton Day Services chose their finest Christmas jumpers to wear and made donations to Save the Children. They hosted a day of Christmas themed activities for the service users to enjoy, including baking and decorating cookies and a quiz.
