On Sunday 30th April a memorial to fallen miners was officially unveiled in the centre of Shirebrook, Derbyshire. The statue was funded by ex-miners, the community, and local organisations, including a donation from Cygnet Manor in Shirebrook.
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Sian Jarvis CB as our newest Non-Executive Director. Sian is highly regarded as one of the leading strategic communications and marketing specialists in the country, with extensive experience in the health sector.
Well done to the team at Cygnet Lodge Kenton who have seen the service’s rating upgraded to ‘Good’ across all five key lines of enquiry, following the latest inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Congratulations to the staff and young people at Cygnet Hospital Bury’s Mulberry ward, which has recently become CAMHeleon accredited.
Cygnet Maple House, our new 16-bed hospital in East Bridgford, Nottinghamshire, is due to open in September 2023. Cygnet Maple House will provide a highly specialised service for women with personality disorder and complex needs.
