The team at Cygnet Wast Hills recently ran a challenge to see how far they could cycle in 24 hours on their new exercise bike. Staff and service users came equipped with their exercise gear and lots of energy!

Last week the team at Cygnet Hospital Godden Green held an open day for their Recovery College. On the day, service users and staff had the opportunity to have a look at the courses available, chat to the Recovery College lead and register interest in the courses they want to attend.
Cygnet Heathers, our specialist rehabilitation service in West Bromwich, has been rated ‘Good’ across all categories by the regulator, the Care Quality Commission (CQC), with inspectors praising staff for their ‘compassion and kindness’.
Eight service users at Cygnet Raglan House recently took part and completed a First Aid course. Resuscitation, how to treat and prevent burns, bleeding and the Heimlich manoeuvre were some of the areas taught.

We’re also very excited to announce that the central safeguarding team will be expanding and we are recruiting a second Named Professional for Safeguarding (Adults and Children) alongside a Safeguarding Administrator to support the team.
As part of their health promotion programme the team at Cygnet Hospital Taunton's Swift Ward recently held an Eat the Rainbow Week. Service users and staff spent time looking at fruits and vegetables that correlated to the colour of the rainbow, and the benefits they have on their health.
