Lisa Locking - Hospital Manager

Prior to joining Cygnet, Lisa had worked in the NHS for 24 years with experience in clinical and managerial positions in forensic mental health services. Lisa’s focus is on compassionate leadership and robust governance and has a passion for strengthening others to achieve their full potential.

During her career Lisa has completed CBT and family awareness training courses and has also co-produced carer awareness training for staff. Risk management, safeguarding and patient safety are particular areas of expertise as well as focusing on the health and wellbeing of staff to create positive cultures.

In her spare time Lisa loves cooking, walking and is an exceptional scrabble player.

Lizzie Luzny - Head of Care

Lizzie joined Storthfield House in September 2013 as Staff Nurse. She was promoted to Senior Nurse in December 2016 and then Head of Care in October 2020. Lizzie completed her nurse training at the University of Derby. Prior to this, she worked at a MIND day centre.

Lizzie is passionate about Student Nurse welfare and ensuring they have positive and meaningful experiences. She is the Student Nurse lead at Storthfield House and is looking at ways in which she can improve learning and education for the better. Lizzie also supports the Hospital Manager and strives to achieve the highest standards possible at Storthfield House.

Dr Lokesh Gangolli - Consultant Psychiatrist

Dr Lokesh Gangolli is a Consultant Psychiatrist and Responsible Clinician at Cygnet Storthfield House, having joined the team in January 2023.

He completed his MBBS from Bangalore University in 2002. With nearly 20 years of experience in Psychiatry, he has had his basic psychiatry training from Oxford and Milton Keynes training programme and from Yorkshire Deanery. He had pursued additional training in various psychiatry subspecialties. His diverse experience includes working in General Adult Psychiatry, Old Age Psychiatry, Learning Disability, Forensic Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and a High Secure Unit at Broadmoor Hospital.

Dr Gangolli holds a Diploma in Psychiatry from Ireland. He is Section 12 approved and an approved clinician with expertise in assessing mental capacity.

Dr Eniola Fabiyi - Speciality Doctor

Dr Eniola Fabiyi joined the team in 2021. He started his postgraduate residency training in psychiatry in 2011, he became a Fellow of the West African College of Physicians (Faculty of Psychiatry) in 2017 and practiced as a Consultant Psychiatrist in the West African Sub region. He had previously worked with the Community Mental Health Team for Older Adults at Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust (St Martins Hospital, Canterbury) before joining Cygnet Storthfield House a male high dependency rehabilitation service.

Dr Fabiyi is an experienced clinician with certifications in management of Substance Use Disorders and also has certification in Health Management from University of Washington (USA). His vast clinical experience gives innovation and he is a respected member of the clinical team. He engages in mental health advocacy, gives mental health knowledge and information to the wider community.

Helen Saunders - Head Occupational Therapist

Helen initially started her career in general nursing and changed to pursue a career 15 years later in occupational therapy back in 2005. She has worked in many areas of practice including physical health, end of life, dementia care and the ‘fit for work’ project. She went on to specialise in learning disability and autism and mental health.

Helen has also worked as a clinical manager for a government contract and then moved to a different provider for several year. Helen joined Cygnet in March 2021 as a locum occupational therapist and was promoted to a permanent position as Head of Occupational Therapy in March 2022.

Helen has a passion to see individuals succeed and reach their maximum potential and this is both the patient’s in our care and the team that she works alongside. Helen believes that occupational therapy plays a vital role within the MDT and patient care.

Helen is a member of the Royal college of Occupational Therapists and has sat on their regional committee on and off for many years. Helen also supports a university group that she founded when she was a student and this provides the opportunity for students and clinicians to come together for networking and CPD opportunities. Outside of work, Helen is a family orientated person and has a love of animals, especially her dogs.

Shannon Cheesmond - Preceptor Forensic Psychologist

Shannon joined Cygnet Health Care in October 2017 as a bank support worker, quickly progressing to lead support in 2018, and then gaining her first Assistant Psychologist post in 2019. Shannon has since worked across different service lines, enrolled onto the Qualification in Forensic Psychology in 2022, and is now a Preceptor Forensic Psychologist at Cygnet Storthfield House.

Shannon is passionate about least restrictive approaches and safe and positive risk taking with individuals in our care, to ensure quality of life for our patients, and supporting their progress to discharge. Shannon is also an advocate for compassionate approaches and trauma informed care, and collaboratively ensuring a high standard of care for our patients with the team at Storthfield.
