Cygnet Storthfield House’s Illuminating Blackpool Trip
One of the highlights of the day was seeing the famous Blackpool Illuminations. The lights were absolutely beautiful, with the bright colours and impressive displays lighting up the promenade. Our service users enjoyed taking in all the different designs and displays, and there were plenty of smiles and happy conversations along the way.
Occupational Therapy Assistant Rebecca Fisher said: “Everyone was excited to get out and enjoy a change of scenery, and the trip gave us a wonderful opportunity to strengthen our therapeutic rapport outside of our usual surrounding.
“It was lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves, sharing laughter, taking photographs and making special memories together. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the beautiful lights made the evening feel extra special.
“The trip was a great success and we are so pleased that our patients had such a wonderful time. It was a lovely opportunity to create new memories, enjoy the community and experience the magic of Blackpool together.”
