Cygnet Storthfield House’s Macmillan fundraiser
The team at Cygnet Storthfield House held a Macmillan coffee afternoon, in which both staff and service users involved with creating cakes.
In the lead up to the day they baked some homemade treats and completed some cake decorating tasks. On the coffee afternoon itself there were hot drinks alongside our range of different sweet treats. In total the event raised £38.45 for Macmillan.
The fundraiser had a special significance for one service user and their family who had experienced a recent bereavement caused by cancer and they thanked the team for holding the event.
