Yorkshire Projects celebrate Christmas
During the course of December all three of our Yorkshire social care projects (Bakery, Gardening and Textiles) took the people they support to the Christmas market in Leeds where they had a walk round, enjoyed the food and rides. This was done over four days so everyone had a chance to enjoy.
During project time they also made Christmas decorations and cookies amongst other things Christmassy for the residents to take back and showcase what they have achieved.
On 23rd December Santa was invited to the Garden Project’s Xmas Grotto to meet the people we support and to hand out gifts. There was also hot chocolate, music and treats to enjoy whilst waiting to see Santa.
Garden and bakery staff were recruited to be Santa’s helpers for the day. For the people who could not make it out to see Santa he made a visit to them so they didn’t miss out.
