A Day of Fun and Friendship at Cygnet South Fest
Staff and the people we support at Nightingale, Squirrels, Devon Lodge, Amberwood and Oakhurst recently came together at Avon Heath Country Park to celebrate the very first Cygnet South Fest.
The event, planned by activity coordinators across the services, was packed with activities for everyone to enjoy. From classic games like Connect 4 and Jenga to face painting, colouring, and temporary tattoos, there was something for everything. Guests also enjoyed a barbecue, live music on a handmade stage created by Nightingale’s maintenance team, and plenty of opportunities to relax and socialise.
The people we support had the chance to make new friendships and have lots of fun, while staff from different services were able to meet and exchange ideas.
The success of the first Cygnet South Fest means plans are already being made for the event to return next year — and everyone is looking forward to it!
