The Daley Care Centre is located in the tranquil countryside setting of Deepcar, just 10 minutes outside of Sheffield city centre. The home features 24 spacious ground-floor bedrooms, providing a highly accessible environment for people with mobility impairments and complex physical health needs.

The centre has been recently refurbished and offers excellent on-site facilities, including a fully equipped therapy gym, an Independent Living Skills Kitchen to promote functional independence, and dedicated therapy spaces that support rehabilitation, recovery and quality of life.

Our Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) includes nurses, rehabilitation support workers, physiotherapists, therapy assistants, speech and language therapists and occupational therapists, working
alongside highly experienced psychology and medical professionals.

Our Pathways

We provide dedicated care pathways designed to meet a broad range of individual needs:

• Goal-focussed Neurorehabilitation: This pathway is most beneficial for people that require intensive rehabilitation to achieve clear, meaningful goals that increase independence or enhance quality of life. We offer assessment, rehabilitation and recommendations for onward care within an agreed timeframe.
• Specialist Complex Nursing Care: Supporting people with complex physical health needs, including spinal cord injuries, respiratory conditions, tracheostomies and PEG / PEJ feeding requirements.
• Longer Term Complex Care: For individuals requiring ongoing specialist support due to progressive neurological conditions or long-term neurological impairment, where maintaining function and quality of life is the primary goal.
• Coming Soon: Prolonged Disorders of Consciousness (PDOC) Assessment & Diagnosis Service: We will soon be offering a comprehensive assessment and diagnosis service for individuals experiencing prolonged disorders of consciousness (PDOC). Our experienced clinical and rehabilitative teams will complete a full assessment, monitoring and diagnosis, formulating a clear set of recommendations for onward care and treatment.

• Adults aged 18+ affected by a neurological condition and / or injury
• Diagnoses may include:
  • Acquired brain injury including those sustained through trauma, anoxia, stroke, tumour, virus, or infection
  • Spinal cord injury
  • Established or suspected neurodegenerative conditions
  • Alcohol Related Brain Disease

• Presenting symptoms may include:
  • Moderate to severe physical, cognitive, and / or communicative difficulties
