Meet the Team

Natalie Neeson – Registered Manager

Natalie joined Ducks Halt in 2006 as an administrator, working her way up to team leader and becoming registered manager in 2019. Natalie has built solid relationships within the service and also the local community, promoting Ducks Halt at every opportunity. Natalie will go above and beyond to support the team at Ducks Halt and will encourage the residents to develop their skills with and end goal to build solid foundations to live independently.

Joshua Barnard – Deputy Manager

Joshua joined Ducks Halt in 2015 as a care support worker, being promoted to senior care support worker in 2018 and deputy manager in 2020. Joshua has brought new ideas to Ducks Halt and actively seeks ways to improve the way that the service runs. Joshua is caring and empowers both residents and staff at every opportunity. Joshua will assist in the smooth running and has proved that he belongs in this role.

Sarah Waring – Team Leader

Sarah joined the team at Ducks Halt as a care support worker in 2020 after transferring from a hospital setting. Sarah was promoted to team leader in 2021 and has made a huge difference to our resident’s lives. Sarah will promote independence at every opportunity and encourages the residents to achieve their best in every aspect of their life. Sarah is passionate about Ducks Halt and the care that we give.

David Roberts – Team Leader

David joined Ducks Halt in 2017 as a care support worker, never working in care before. David proved to be made to work in care and was promoted to senior support worker in 2019 and team leader in 2021. David is a calm and caring team leader, supporting all at Ducks Halt. David was recently recognised for “going the extra mile” in his role at Ducks Halt and is an asset to the team.

Budding Chefs at Ducks Halt

The residents at Ducks Halt residential learning disability service in Kirby-le-Soken are very proud to say that staff no longer cook meals for them as they have learned the skills to do this themselves.
