Marion House and Conifers Go Green
The people supported at Marion House and Conifers recently took part in a community litter-picking initiative in partnership with Ockbrook and Borrowash Parish Council.
As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen links with the local community, residents and staff spent an afternoon helping to tidy the surrounding area. With the sun shining, everyone got involved, making the most of the opportunity to get outdoors, work together and make a positive difference to the local environment.
The activity was enjoyed by all who took part and forms part of continued community engagement work across both services. Reflecting on the day, Activity Coordinator Bethany Alexander said: “All in all, it was really successful and we’re looking forward to continuing to build our engagement.”
