On Wednesday 9th September we held our grand opening event at Cygnet Hospital Hexham, our new PICU and Acute service for women with complex mental health needs. Due to open for admissions in October, the new 27-bed facility will provide an important and much-needed service for women and will offer treatment and rehabilitation through a specialist intensive care unit and an acute service for women.
Service users and staff at Cygnet Hospital Wyke were challenged to revive childhood memories in their own themed version of TV’s Bake-Off competition. The bakers had to create cakes that reminded them of a favourite memory.
We are pleased to announce that we are continuing our sponsorship of Mold Alexandra Football Club’s first team for the forthcoming season. Cygnet's relationship with the team goes back to 2015 and we are delighted to continue the partnership.

The ladies at Cygnet Aspen Clinic have been showing the community spirit over the last few months to provide gifts, donations and homemade items to people that have suffered from Covid-19.
Head Chef Jo has been providing 1:1 cooking sessions with residents at Ranaich House. Residents have been using the skills picked up during the cooking sessions to take part in their own Masterchef.
