Cygnet Health Care launches campaign to counter misinformation around the Covid vaccine

We have launched a video campaign called #ihadthevaccine to urge ethnic minority communities to have the Covid vaccine. Amid concerns that the rate of infections and Covid deaths have been disproportionately high among minorities, and that BAME communities are less likely to take the vaccine, the aim of the campaign is to listen and share information to help people make informed choices.

Willow House awarded ‘Good’ rating by the Care Quality Commission

The registered manager of Willow House said she was delighted after the care home retained its “Good” rating from the regulator, the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Willow House, in Edgbaston, West Midlands, is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care to seven people with a range of needs including learning difficulties and distressed behaviours.

Celebrating Eating Disorder Awareness Week at Cygnet Hospital Ealing

Service users and staff from Cygnet Hospital Ealing’s specialist eating disorder service, Sunrise Ward, have had a full timetable of events and activities this week to mark Eating Disorder Awareness Week (1st -7th March). Activities included a Skype session with author Tabitha Farrar and a showcase event where the ladies shared poems and letters.
