Mandy Newman - Managing Director & Nominated Individual
Mandy has an extensive career history in the registered management, operation and development of new services specifically within this client group. Mandy has previously owned and operated a specialist ABI and neurological residential service and held previous posts as CQC registered manager, being fully conversant with the regulations, legislation and guidance which governs the regulation of care home services and associated regulated activities
Pip Sheerin – Registered Home Manager
Pip originally worked as a Property Manager for over 25 years, managing a portfolio of over 100 charity shops throughout England, Scotland and Wales. She is NEBOSH qualified. A change of career led Pip into the world of health and social care, where she managed a community based ABI service for eight years before joining Woodrowe Healthcare. She has worked for three years as the Service Manager at Woodrowe House and has been the Registered Manager for 18 months.
Pip’s true passion in life is dogs and her dream is to have a house full of rescue dogs when she retires. She was formerly a Trustee of the Cheltenham Animal Shelter for over five years.

Lee Burbidge – Clinical Lead, Neuro Occupational Therapist
Lee has worked in the field of Neuro – Occupational Therapy for the best part of fourteen years, also having worked in forensic mental health and NHS community stroke services.
Lee joined Woodrowe House in October 2019 before being promoted to Clinical Lead in June 2020. Since then he has worked on building and developing a team of therapists that approach their roles with the same verve and determination to enhance and better the lives of all of Woodrowe’s resident group.

Samantha Wilkinson – Deputy Home Manager
Samantha joined Woodrowe as a Deputy Home Manager in January 2024, bringing knowledge and experience across a variety of different client groups.
Samantha is an ambitious person who in her late 20's achieved a promotion to become a registered manager and successfully led the turnaround of a 46-bed residential home, where the CQC rating improved from 'inadequate' to 'good overall' in just two months. During this time, she underwent extensive training and achieved a Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership.
Samantha is passionate about person centred care and takes pride in ensuring every resident receives the highest quality of support. She enjoys working closely with the staff team, sharing knowledge and providing hands-on guidance to help colleagues grow in confidence and deliver the best possible care.

Jemma Blow – Senior Occupational Therapist
Jemma has worked her way through the health and social care field from starting as a carer in dementia care to becoming a support worker for individuals with learning disabilities. She then changed to working within mental health settings for a brief period before training to become an occupational therapist.
Jemma gained experience within the NHS as a qualified occupational therapist and then moved onto working at Woodrowe House. She has been part of the expansion at Woodrowe House and loves working with individuals to achieve their goals.
Jemma enjoys the uniqueness of Woodrowe House and being able to encourage individuals to regain their abilities through functional tasks.

Weronika Kaminska – Senior Physiotherapist
Weronika completed her Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy in 2011 and has dedicated her career ever since to helping people regain their health and independence following a wide range of medical conditions and challenges. Physiotherapy is not just her profession — it is truly Weronika’s passion and hobby.
Over the years, Weronika has gained valuable experience supporting individuals through their recovery journeys, always striving to provide the highest standard of care. She is committed to continuous professional development, regularly acquiring new skills and exploring innovative techniques to ensure she remains at the forefront of her field.
There is no greater reward than witnessing a patient’s progress — whether it’s a small daily improvement or a major breakthrough in their rehabilitation.
Weronika is a hard-working and dependable team player who thrives in collaborative environments and is always ready to support colleagues. Compassion, professionalism, and a dedication to excellence are the values that guide her work every day.

Ben Waudby – Physiotherapist
Ben qualified as a Physiotherapist at York St John University in 2016. He then worked in many different organisations as a Physiotherapist including the NHS, sports teams, private outpatient clinics, and in a private hospital outpatient/inpatient setting. Ben has gained a large amount of experience within MSK and Neuro rehabilitation settings and joined Woodrowe in December 2024.
Ben has around 8 years of clinical physiotherapy experience having had a career gap where he travelled in South-East Asia, Sri Lanka and lived in New Zealand for around two years from September 2018 to May 2020. Ben’s hobbies tend to be travelling, Yoga and reading around religion, philosophy and psychology.

Sharon Burbidge – Administration Manager
Sharon has been working at Woodrowe as the Administration Manager since May 2023.
Prior to Woodrowe she worked as an administrator and PA to the Directors role for 17 years within a training company, and before that, 17 years as a retail manager. Sharon also spent 12 years in the Sea Cadet Corp as a Chief Petty Officer and Training Officer for youngsters aged between 12-18.

Ange Thompson – Shift Manager
Ange started to work at Woodrowe in August 2019, she holds a Level 3 in Social Care. She has been in rehab care for over 10 years, were she started as a CRA and worked her way up to become a shift manager.
Ange enjoys spending time with her family, going on holiday, and spending time with her first grandchild.

Helen Campbell – Shift Manager
Helen completed her degree in Psychology at the University of Derby, graduating in 2015. She has 10 years’ experience in various care settings, working with younger and older adults with learning disabilities, sight loss and mental health difficulties as well as individuals with dementia and the elderly.
Helen joined Woodrowe House in August 2021 as a care rehabilitation assistant then was promoted to shift manager in June 2022. Helen enjoys her role and making a difference to the individuals in her care and supporting other members of staff at Woodrowe House.

Vilma Hughes – Night Shift Manager
Vilma Hughes joined Woodrowe in October 2023 as a full time Night Care Rehabilitation Assistant and eventually took the role of Night Shift Lead after a few months, bringing with her a strong background in patient care, compassion and dedication to excellence. Vilma believes a dose of kindness and a touch of laughter are the best medicine.
Before moving to the UK, Vilma was a Registered Nurse in the Philippines and in the United Arab Emirates. After moving to England, Vilma embraced full-time motherhood before returning to healthcare. She worked as a carer in private homes and some related agency work.

Cherrie Dae Whitford – Night Shift Manager
After years of working with numbers and deadlines, Cherrie became a caregiver when her brother fell ill, and discovered the value of human connection. During the pandemic, she trained and earned her certification in caregiving in the Philippines and moved to England in January 2023.
Cherrie joined the team at Woodrowe in June 2023 and is committed to providing thoughtful, reliable support - believing that even small acts of care can make a big difference.

Ciril Byju – Care Rehab Therapy Assistant
With over five years of healthcare experience, including roles in the NHS as a Mental Health Support Worker, ND and LD Support Worker, and Activity Coordinator, Ciril holds a bachelor’s in psychology and a Master’s in Health and Social Care, which has equipped him with a strong foundation to support individuals with diverse needs.
Ciril is passionate about promoting wellbeing, building trust, and ensuring patient care and engagement remain at the heart of everything he does.

Tara Hurst – Therapy Assistant
Tara started working at Woodrowe in February 2024. Before joining she worked with clients with a variety of diagnoses, such as multiple sclerosis and dementia. Tara enjoys working here and being able to encourage and help individuals to expand their daily skills.
Tara is looking to start her studies in health and social care and then carry on to hopefully become a qualified occupational therapist. Outside of work, Tara enjoys spending time with her family and pets.

Ellie Bailey – Therapy Assistant
Ellie joined Woodrowe in 2021 as a care rehabilitation assistant and then became a therapy assistant in 2022. Ellie enjoys the varied role of working with individuals that all have their own unique stories.
In Ellie’s spare time she enjoys taking her little girl to different places and spending time with her family.
