Meet the Team

Lorraine Platt - Service Manager

Lorraine originally joined the team worked at Trinity House in 2017 as an activity coordinator. Lorraine was later promoted to deputy manager before being appointed service manager. Lorraine was subsequently also appointed service manager of Trinity Lodge.

Prior to working at Trinity Lorraine worked with young people with mental health issues and challenging behaviours. She went back to university aged 47 and competed a degree in Health and Social Policy. Lorraine is passionate about working with adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism and looks forward to coming into work every day and making a huge difference to the daily lives of the residents and supporting them to identify goals that the team can then help and support to achieve.

Outside of work Lorraine is a keen paddle boarder and cold water swimmer and also enjoys yoga and pilates.

Butterflies, pretty flowers and well known children's characters are just some of the characters and designs which now adorn the garden walls at one of our social care services in Scotland after staff listened to feedback from residents who wanted to re-decorate the outdoor space.
