Our goal is to help the people we support to lead full and happy lives. We work closely with each person to find out their strengths, abilities and preferences. This allows us to provide truly personalised care that’s centred on the individual.
At Riverside House, we focus on helping people gain and maintain their independence. Our staff support individuals in developing practical life skills, including cleaning, meal planning, grocery shopping, and cooking.
Each person works with staff to create a personalised timetable designed to build on their current skills and develop new ones. These schedules include a mix of activities both at Riverside House and in the wider community, such as college courses, volunteering,
and gardening projects.
The local area includes the Forest of Dean and beautiful countryside. Plus, it has excellent transport links to the nearby towns of Lydney and Cinderford, as well as to the city of Gloucester.
