Meet the Manager

Marie Smith - Service Manager

Marie is the service manager at Morgan House with over 20 years’ experience managing residential, supported accommodation and homeless services.

Marie has worked with vulnerable children, young people and adults and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Morgan House team.

She has strong leadership skills and operational management. Marie is committed to providing staff with a caring work environment to ensure they can carry out their work feeling supported and heard. Prior to joining Cygnet Social Care, Marie managed services in mental health, learning disability and a direct access hostel, working in close collaboration with the primary, secondary and voluntary sectors. She was a Registered Manager under Ofsted.

In her free time, she enjoys reading to relax, visiting the theatre, and spending time with family and friends. Marie also likes to stay active at the gym and admits to having a particular fondness for chocolate.
