Joy started as a support worker at Hansa lodge in 2018, her commitment and passion for this job always makes her available to support and seek development when opportunities arise. Joy was appointed as team leader in 2019 and has since been attending training courses to gain more knowledge and experience. Joy feels it has been a continuous pleasure to be part of a great organisation.
Black History Month is a show of solidarity, strength and defiance against all odds and Hansa Lodge staff and residents used this to enjoy an event their different cultures, food and pride.
The staff and people they support at Hansa Lodge showed their solidarity and support for victims of Breast Cancer by wearing all pink.

Hansa Lodge resident Emily has achieved a milestone in her personal health journey, losing over 28kg since joining Slimming World in July 2024.
The Orchards, our residential service in Thorrington, Essex recently held its annual summer party. They joined by staff, residents and loved ones from Ducks Halt and a number of other Cygnet Social Care services in the East of England to enjoy the summer festivities.
