Lisa Locking - Hospital Manager
Lisa joined Cygnet in December 2023 and was the registered manager of Cygnet Storthfield House and The Sycamores giving her experience in both Health and Social care settings. Prior to joining Cygnet, Lisa had worked in the NHS for 24 years with experience in clinical and managerial positions in forensic mental health services. Lisa’s focus is on compassionate leadership and robust governance and has a passion for strengthening others to achieve their full potential.
During her career Lisa has completed CBT and family therapy training courses. Risk management, safeguarding and patient safety are particular areas of expertise as well as focusing on the health and wellbeing of staff to create positive cultures.
Now proudly working at Cygnet Pindar House as Hospital Manager, Lisa strives to work with the whole team to provide the best care possible to service users and their families.
In her spare time Lisa loves cooking, walking and is an exceptional scrabble player.
John Bradshaw - Clinical Manager
John qualified as a registered adult nurse in 2014. He has a strong clinical background working in intensive care and a high dependency unit, where he developed a variety of clinical/transferable skills. John joined Cygnet Pindar House in September 2021 as a Senior Nurse. He was then promoted to Clinical Team Leader in August 2022 and was recently promoted to Clinical Manager in December 2025.
John combines hands-on experience with strategic oversight in order to deliver high quality person centred care. he is passionate about Neuropsychiatric Rehabilitation and enjoys the variety of physical and mental health aspects of the service. John also has a passion for valuing patient’s wellbeing and the development of the Cygnet Pindar House clinical team.
Dr Julianne Kinch – Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist and National Neuropsychology Clinical Lead
Since completing her clinical training in 2000, Dr Kinch has worked in a large variety of brain injury rehabilitation services and settings, in both the public and the private sector. She has led several multidisciplinary clinical teams specialising in neurobehavioural rehabilitation for clients with an acquired brain injury, delivering specialist brain injury rehabilitation to a wide spectrum of patients, ranging from those in a Prolonged Disorder of Conscious to individuals whom engage in severe behaviours that challenge.
Dr Kinch’s research projects have included investigation of the perception of indirect and non-verbal social communication after brain injury (contributing to the development of The Awareness of Social Inference Test; TASIT). She has also conducted extensive research into the role of self-compassion and self-criticism in compassion fatigue and burnout amongst healthcare assistants and has presented this research at international conferences.
Dr Kinch's primary commitment is to ensuring that the patients she works with, no matter the severity of their brain injury, achieve a rich, full, and meaningful life.
Dr Venkata Yelamanchili - Consultant Neuropsychiatrist
Since 2021, Venkata has worked as a Consultant Neuropsychiatrist at Pindar House. This role follows four years as a Specialty Doctor in Liaison Psychiatry, where he developed a keen interest in neuropsychiatry. Venkata's training encompassed diverse psychiatric sub-specialties, including Therapeutic Communities, Drug and Alcohol units, Forensic, and General Adult Psychiatry.
Venkata also worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist in Acute Mental Health Units, Community Mental Health Teams, and Intensive Community Services.
Venkata is particularly passionate about addressing the under-diagnosis of acquired brain injuries (ABI). He believes early intervention is crucial to minimise morbidity and optimise rehabilitation.
He is also dedicated to sharing expertise and promoting best practices among Neuropsychiatry teams. As Chair of the Monthly Neuropsychiatry MDT Grand Rounds, Venkata facilitates discussions on complex management and evidence-based research among six inpatient Neuropsychiatry units. His goal is to enhance understanding, address concerns, and manage expectations effectively
Dr Chidimma Ezeoke - Speciality Doctor
Dr Ezeoke is a highly skilled physician with over a decade of experience across psychiatry, surgery, HIV care and general medicine. Currently working in a Neuropsychiatric rehabilitation unit, she brings a holistic approach to patient care, drawing from her diverse medical background.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr Ezeoke has a keen interest in artificial intelligence and technology, exploring their potential to revolutionize healthcare. Outside of work, Dr Ezeoke enjoys cool music and movies, balancing her professional expertise with creative and relaxing pursuits.
Amy Moss - Speech and Language Therapist
Amy has an Undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of York and a Masters degree in Speech and Langue Therapy from the University of Sheffield. Upon completion of her Masters degree, Amy joined Cygnet Cedars in 2021 as a newly qualified Speech and Language Therapist. She later transferred to Wast Hills in 2022 before joining the team at Cygnet Pindar House in May 2025.

Previous to this role, Amy has clinical experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health. Amy is dedicated to empower individuals with acquired brain injuries through supporting their communication. Amy has experience in assessing service users’ communication and creating therapeutic plans that are person centred to support the best therapeutic outcomes. Amy is dysphagia trained and provides assessment and management of eating, drinking and swallowing difficulties. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going on long walks and reading.
Jessica Grimston - Speech and Language Therapist
Jess graduated in July 2025 with a first class degree in BMedSci Speech and Language Therapy. During her time at University of Sheffield, she gained experience both in paediatric and adult speech and language therapy across a broad range of settings. She is experienced in assessing and delivering therapeutic interventions to individuals with a wide range of communication difficulties.
Jess joined Cygnet Pindar House shortly after graduating from university. Jess values building therapeutic relationships and taking a person-centred approach, working closely with service users to understand their individual experiences, strengths, and goals.
Susanna Shotter - Specialist Occupational Therapist
Susanna joined Cygnet Pindar House in July 2025, bringing with her more than two decades of experience in older adults’ mental health. After qualifying as an Occupational Therapist in 2006, she spent ten years working in the NHS before founding a Huddersfield-based charity in 2015. Her work there centred on reducing social isolation among older adults, earning a strong local reputation for creative, meaningful support and improving quality of life for hundreds of people.
Guided by the values of compassion, creativity and connection, Susanna always sees the person before the “patient.” She is passionate about education and has guest lectured at Derby, Salford and Huddersfield, sharing what she calls the “heartbeat” of Occupational Therapy with the next generation of practitioners. In 2021, she was proud to share her professional return-to-practice journey in an article published by the HCPC. Today, she is delighted to lead the Occupational Therapy team at Cygnet Pindar House.
Outside of work, Susanna enjoys playing Scrabble, baking, spending time with her husband and teenage sons, and relaxing watching old episodes of The West Wing.
Muhammed Mughal – Physiotherapist
Muhammad Waqas Mughal is originally from Pakistan (Kashmir). He completed his physiotherapy degree from King Edward Medical University in June 2016. Muhammad joined Cygnet Health Care in June 2024 as a specialist physiotherapist.
Muhammed worked as an acute care neuro-physiotherapist in Pakistan for 8 year from 2016(August) till 2024(May). He worked as a team leader and lead physiotherapist from 2018 onwards in intensive care units.
He has a vast experience of working in the neurological, orthopaedic, inpatient and rehab care domain. His speciality domains are neuro-rehabilitation, MSK and respiratory physiotherapy.Now proudly working at Cygnet Pindar House as a specialist physiotherapist, Muhammad strives to work with the whole team to provide the best care possible to service users and try to improve their quality of life.
In his spare time Muhammad loves cooking, travelling and loves hoteling.
Kerry Sunley - Dietician
Kerry qualified in MSc Dietetics at Teesside University and has worked in the areas of nutrition support, weight management, type 2 diabetes and coeliac disease to name a few!
Kerry is an animal lover and out of work she enjoys long walks with her dogs in the countryside and spending time with her family.
