Bramble Ward is a mental health acute service for men, based at Cygnet Hospital Sherwood in Nottinghamshire.
The ward provides assessment and treatment for men experiencing a mental health crisis who require an emergency admission.
Designed in collaboration with Experts by Experience, our modern, purpose-built hospital offers a calming environment featuring all en-suite bedrooms with double beds.
Our specialist team focus on length of stay and making sure individuals move as quickly and safely as possible from our services to the most appropriate and least restrictive environment for them.

At Bramble Ward, we support men aged over 18 who:
- Are detained under the Mental Health Act or informal
- May have diagnoses including mental illness, personality disorder, psychosis, bi-polar disorder and / or schizophrenia
- May have complex needs including self-harm or substance misuse
