World Mental Health Day at Cygnet Joyce Parker Hospital
Our management and staff at Cygnet Joyce Parker Hospital spent the day celebrating World Mental Health Day in style.
Staff were encouraged to wear a green top as the colour is the international symbol for mental health awareness, which represents hope, strength and support.
The theme for World Mental Health Day 2025 is ‘Access to Services – Mental Health in Catastrophes and Emergencies’. This theme focuses on ensuring access to mental health support during crises, whether this is natural disasters, public health emergencies, or even personal challenges.
All staff were welcomed into the reception area with freshly baked cakes, cookies, and sweet treat. Cards of heart felt appreciative messages were handed to staff.
The day continued to encourage, kindness self-care and compassion, showing our team that your mental health matters!
