Supporting student placements at Cygnet Bury Hudson
The placements have been a great success from day one with the students not wanting their placement to come to an end.
One of the OT students, Sophie, said: “I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for the the incredible experience during my placement with you. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here and have gained invaluable insights into the role of an OT.
“All of your support and guidance has been instrumental in building my confidence. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to learn from such an amazing team.”
Sheanagh Pearson-McAuliffe, Head of Occupational Therapy at Cygnet Bury Hudson, said: “The Hudson OT team have been excited about this new journey for our team. So far the students have blown us away with their willingness to learn about mental health within a secure setting and how motivated they have been to get involved with projects and running OT focused groups. I would also like to thank my team for taking time to support them and I feel its down to them as to why our students really enjoyed their stay and didn’t want to leave.”
